Business Development Manager - London

I’m Toby, recently appointed as the Business Development Manager for Wemyss Family Spirits in London.

I’m very excited to represent our diverse portfolio in such a vibrant market, connecting with world-class bars, restaurants and retailers to introduce more people to the world of Kingsbarns Whisky, Wemyss Malts and Darnley’s Gin. London’s ever-evolving drinks scene offers endless opportunities and my role spans everything from growing market presence and driving brand recognition to building meaningful, lasting relationships that go beyond sales.

The drinks industry has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve long been fascinated by the way heritage and tradition seamlessly blend with artistry and innovation in a way that is truly unique to this industry. Though new to the brand side, my background in bartending and mixology gives me hands-on experience that I’m eager to draw upon, showcasing the versatility of our portfolio to its fullest potential.

What I’m most looking forward to in my role is seeing our products make their mark on the capital, helping to create memorable, shared experiences that celebrate the passion and craftsmanship behind each unique expression.

Having joined just before the release of our Distillery Reserve 2024, I already feel part of the journey and whilst I will always have a special fondness for this release, my favourite is a dram of our flagship whisky ‘Doocot’ - a true embodiment of our Lowland style.
